How are peeps finding it?

Rather excellent in my opinion. As a long time player of the first release, and the even better Brood War, I've got to say colour me chuffed.

It is totally fair to say it is 'just' Starcraft with a lick of fresh paint, but holy moley what an AMAZING lick of paint. There was nothing wrong with the gamplay in the first place so I'm glad, but not surprised, that Blizzard took the 'if it aint broke, don't fix it' route in that respect.

I've barely brushed the surface to be honest, not had much time to play and haven't got online at all, but mission design has been executed well, the 'Night and Day' mission being a stand-out. Still so much to go, almost don't want to complete it ;)

I would like to say I suck at multiplayer SC2. Getting killed more often than not, but I am enjoying every moment of it!

Have played a couple of the campaign missions and I'm already torn between progressing or going back to get all the achievements...

Not ready for MP so tried a game versus the AI. Thought I was doing ok, being patient and building up forces, then AI attacks and almost wipes me out :( then I get one guy through and land a nuke on their base and they surrender :) (if they hadn't I was going to wiped out in the next minute or so.....)

Heard some bad things about Mafia 2 but it was from a GTA fanboi so could be a bit biased.

Got SC2 and am finding it surprisingly fun, had a bash at the MP and thought I was doing OK until I got zerg rushed. Back to l2play on campaign missions a bit more....

Threadjacking my own thread here!

The Mafia II demo is excellent, a high point for me being when an Irish gangster rushed me in the hooch factory shouting "ARE YE SHITTING YER PANTS YET?!?", nearly fell off me chair laughing.

There's a bit of a bug on install with the Physx driver offloading to the CPU, but if you uninstall and reinstall Physx drivers from the '3rd' folder in the steamapps game folder (or from the official site I suppose) performance improves about 100% (no exageration).

It's definitely a must buy for me now. In fact I'll probably pre-dowload it with all the DLC just for the hell of it as I'll still be on holiday when it's released and can play loads.

Also, the magazines, genius touch.
